Unity
What’s new
Smarter avatar checks: We’ve taught our system to double-check that avatars have valid skeletons before they try to bust a move.
Bug Fixes
Gaussian splat selection: We fixed an issue where Gaussian splats were being a little shy and wouldn't let you select them. They’re now fully clickable and ready for action.
Web
What’s new
Persistent grid settings: The grid setting for creators is now stored across your sessions.
Increased maximum clipping plane limit: The clipping plane limit can now be set to up to 500km and includes a new set of controls for adjusting the value.
Portal activation prompt: The portal component now includes a prompt and a countdown to let users know they will be sent to another space. Users can stop the countdown by dismissing the notification or moving out of the portal area.
3D map tiles for viewers: 3D map tiles will now be visible to viewers when they have been turned on by a creator.
Bug fixes
Gemini recognizes chatbot components: Definitions for chatbot components have been provided, so the scripting chatbot can now respond to requests regarding these.
Hotspot visibility: The visibility of hotspots has been corrected to no longer appear in the cinematic camera viewport.
Gaussian Splat tinting: The ability to tint Gaussian splats has been restored.
Unreal
What’s new
Gaussian splats: We optimized splat rendering and fixed an artefact-related bug caused when using multiple cameras.
Bug fixes
Uploading OKO levels: We fixed a crash when uploading a sublevel while the main level is loaded.
OKO Component Transforms: A fix for OKO components sometimes bouncing back to their previous transform after modifying the gizmo.
Crash when adding users to space: If an Unreal user attempted to add/invite a user to the space via the Edit option (accessed by right-clicking on the Space thumbnail), Unreal crashed. Not any more!
Crash when exiting: Fix for an occasional crash when exiting Unreal Editor.
Loss of Alpha Video Material properties: Fixed an issue where updating an Asset Collection associated with an Alpha Video Material invalidated the material.
