Unity

What’s new

  • Analytics reporting: We now support sending analytics through our Connected Spaces Platform layer, allowing for greater visibility into user engagement across all OKO applications.

Bug Fixes

  • Certain devices were experiencing “glittering” Gaussian Splats. It was time to clean up our image.

  • Assets uploaded by other SKUs were failing to appear in app, but they’ve sorted out their differences.

Web

What’s new

  • Introducing AI chatbots! OKO creators can now add context-aware chatbots to their OKO spaces for viewers to interact with.

  • Calling all filmmakers – we’ve upgraded our camera tools functionality! Highlights include the ability to input translation values for the component while in camera mode, a toggle to amend the visibility of camera details in the viewport, and components now inherit the position of the user when created.

    • Note: this only applies to camera components created via the properties panel or via the right-click shortcut.

  • The ‘Fly Mode’ UI now has a slider to allow users to quickly change their navigation speed in a space.

Bug fixes

  • Components associated with locked entities cannot be manipulated under any circumstances.

Unreal

What’s new

  • AI chatbots are here! OKO Pro creators can now add context-aware chatbots to their OKO spaces for viewers to interact with.

    • Note: Users of the OKO plugin are currently prevented from adding components to a space, but are able to amend properties of in-space chatbots placed by other clients.

  • Users will now see a toast notification when their OKO plugin version is outdated, with a direct link to download the latest version.

  • Spaces containing video assets are now optimised thanks to the implementation of basic video caching.

Bug fixes

  • We’ve been tracking down crashes, so you can now exit the editor, convert Actors after an idle session, or quickly delete recently uploaded assets without unexpected shutdowns.

  • Reflection captures can now be successfully updated.

  • When first entering a space, the asset library would appear empty until a manual refresh was triggered - we’ve set things straight, and everything now appears right on time.
