What’s new

  • One screen to rule them all: We’ve replaced the old login system with federated login, making it easier and more secure to jump back into your projects.

  • Refined avatar animations: Our avatars just got a bit more graceful. We’ve updated animations and processing to better support both male and female avatar models.

  • Direct support: Need help? We’ve updated our feedback links to point you directly to the Magnopus support team.

Bug Fixes

  • Banishing the black screen: We fixed those pesky issues where the screen would stay black while entering or exiting spaces, or right after launching the app.

  • Material magic: Fixed a bug where material overrides weren't being applied correctly to objects using multiple materials.

  • Polished processing: We cleared up a confusing error message that would appear if you tried to interact with a spawned asset that was still processing in the background.

  • Federated login support: We’ve replaced the old login system with federated login, making it easier and more secure to jump back into your projects.

  • Measurement tool: Need to know exactly how far apart things are? Draw a line to view clear, centered measurements in feet or meters, complete with incremental marks, thanks to our new measurement tool.

  • Location & 3D tiles: Manage location panels and save 3D tile settings directly within your space metadata. We're putting more control in your hands to shape how your world looks.

  • Improved access to resources: We’ve added links for the Knowledge Base, live service checker, and contact form to the top navigation bar of our logged-out page. Help is always just a click away, even before you sign in!

  • Enhanced asset security: We’ve beefed up our downloading security protocols to ensure all uploaded content is safeguarded.

Bug fixes

  • Avatar sanity check: We now ensure an avatar skeleton is selected before allowing an upload, preventing broken animations down the line.

  • Gaussian splat stability: Fixed an issue where updating Gaussian splat properties would fail if the reference didn't exist.

  • Map preview scaling: The map preview now behaves. It resizes correctly whenever the location panel is adjusted.

  • Enhanced asset security: We’ve strengthened our security protocols for asset downloads, ensuring your uploaded content is always protected.

Bug fixes

  • Crash squashing: We fixed several stability issues, including crashes when deleting actors during asset uploads or closing Unreal while async operations were still doing their thing.

  • Lumen & Gaussian splats: Fixed a bug where disabling Lumens would accidentally mess with your Engine.ini file and prevent Gaussian splats from loading.

  • Text & UI refinements: Resolved an issue where text was wrapping at random and ensured the annotation window accurately reflects how your notes will actually look.

  • Reliable settings: OKO settings are now correctly loaded and saved from the plugin configuration, so your preferences actually stick.
