This product roadmap is an outline of some of our current product plans. Although it reflects our current intentions, even the best of plans can change! As such, nothing shown here is a binding commitment and the development, release, and timing of any product or feature shown on this roadmap are at the sole discretion of Magnopus and are subject to change.

Anchor Management
Allows for precise authoring and placement of Google Cloud Anchored spaces.

Admin Tooling

Provide non-technical users with the ability to administer tenant-specific infrastructure changes.

Avatar Visibility

Control how users are represented in spaces by adding the option for 'invisible' avatars.

Camera Tools

Simulate physical camera functionality, with tools for location scouting, shot composition, scene blocking, and more, directly within the platform.

AI Chatbot

Enabling OKO creators to add context-aware AI-driven chatbots to their spaces.

Entity Hierarchy

Allows greater flexibility when organizing entities and performing group actions.

Analytics

Enabling client applications to read/write platform-related analytics.

Gaussian Splats - Iteration 2

Improvements to current functionality to support a larger range of file types and give users more control over use of Gaussian splats in OKO.

Hotspots

Define and emphasize key areas in your space to provide visitors with a narrative and quicker navigation abilities.

Annotations
The ability to capture screenshots of a space, mark them up with drawings and text, and leave them in-space as a reference for other collaborators to see.

IOT Component

Enabling OKO creators to connect real-world devices to their OKO spaces.

Map Mode & Siteview Refactor

Refactoring functionality to ensure a smoother experience for users.

API Versioning

Allows the product to notify users/developers in advance when they are required to update.

Level of Detail (LOD) Support - Iteration 2

Iterating on our existing functionality to allow users to manually amend and customize their LODs.

Space Sharing and Discoverability

Users have greater control over who can access their spaces thanks to more granular accessibility settings.

Area of Interest

Allows users to receive messages only about entities within a localized region of their digital location.

Modular CSP Architecture

Allowing developers to select which parts of CSP they want to use and increasing platform stability/maintainability.

Space Templates

Spaces can be assigned and used as a template, facilitating easier setup of a space with existing content for other users.

Automated Testing

Automating a number of manual tests, improving both the quality and velocity of our releases.

Multiplayer in GPU

Server-side modeling and querying of any given space on the GPU. Improves load-handling for spaces with large numbers of entities.

Upgrade to UE 5.3

Upgrading the version of Unreal to make use of the latest improvements.

Blueprints Refactor

Providing a more coherent developer experience for users building Unreal applications using the platform.

Organisations

Team up and form groups to share spaces, content, and feedback with each other.

Clipping Plane Controls

Provides users with control over the maximum distance content can be viewed from in OKO Web.

Cloud Agnostic Architecture

Expanding the set of cloud hosting platforms on which our services can run.

Server Side Scripting

Server-authoritative script execution allows for state to be updated coherently regardless of the users currently within a space.

Web UI Upgrade - Iteration 2

Improvements to the Web UI to align with industry standards and provide users with a smoother experience.

Refactoring the implementation of our comments system to improve existing functionality.

CSP Dependency Pinning

Ensures that every application using a given version of CSP interacts with the same services API, improving stability and interoperability guarantees.

CSP WASM Examples

Providing WASM examples to support the education of CSP developers building JavaScript or TypeScript applications.

CSP-Unity Wrapper

A CSP wrapper API designed for Unity, reducing the time and effort required to update and maintain Unity-CSP integrations.

Custom Materials

Allows users to assign and view materials (such as video files) on any 3D geometry in a space.

Embeddable Spaces (iframe)

Reducing friction for users seeking to embed OKO Web clients (or clients derived from OKO Web) within external sites.

Entity Locking

Allows creators to lock/unlock entities, preventing others from inadvertently changing their state.

Feature Flagging

Allows for more controlled releases with enhanced risk mitigation by quickly enabling/disabling features.

GLTF Importer Module Refactor
Streamlining the architectural design of the OKO Unreal GLTF Importer Module to create a maintainable and extensible exporter.

Holocap/Volcap Support

Ensuring all OKO clients have parity in creating and viewing holocaps/volcaps.

SI Preparation

Allowing Systems Integrators to adopt our product to independently create their own Connected Spaces application.
