What’s new
GLTF Importing: We now support importing GLBs from zip files. Polycam users on the free plan – your workflow just got a whole lot easier!
Sharing: Your buddy just sent you a link to an OKO space? Just click to enter – no need to log in!
Bug Fixes
Comments: Comments’ iconography scaling was a bit too relative to their parent asset, especially when the asset was MASSIVE. They’ve now been cut down to size.
Avatars: iOS users in AR mode tended to “bounce” when seen by users on other clients, but we’ve straightened it out.
Blocking Users: While we hope no one ever needs to use this functionality, it is at least fixed.
Web
What’s new
Be our guest! You can now view content without the commitment of creating an OKO account, thanks to our guest login support.
P.S If you’re not logged in and click on an accessible space link, you’ll automatically enter the space as a guest (how smart!).
Choose whether you want to search for assets under the CC0 or BY licence as part of our Sketchfab integration. Plus, animated models are now clearly marked with an icon within the search results.
It’s not Valentine's Day yet, but we’ve shown the entity hierarchy a lot of love – ordering of entities is now consistent between space sessions, with the added benefit of being able to sort the list alphabetically.
Bug fixes
Tickets please! Spaces that required a ticket to access briefly dropped their guard and let everybody in, but we’ve returned them to their natural, secure state.
We’ve supercharged the color picker for custom materials – color changes now occur instantly.
Unreal
What’s new
The OKO plugin now supports Unreal’s Sequencer, allowing components and entities to be manipulated and replicated to other clients.
Bug fixes
The asset library continuously refreshed whenever a new model was uploaded; it’s since calmed down and doesn’t appear ‘glitchy’ anymore.
Attempting to upload assets using the asset action option would result in an “out of memory” crash, but now the app has remembered how to upload properly.
